IEEE SERENE 2010
IEEE-IES SEminar on RENewable Energy systems
University of Salerno -ITALY
Faculty of Engineering - "Aula delle Lauree"
July 1-2, 2010
The aim of the SEminar on RENewable Energy systems is to give an insight into some of the most promising systems for electrical power production by renewable energies. Main issues related to the exploitation of solar and wind energies, but also to the employment of hydrogen as a clean energy vector will be discussed by experts from European universities and industries. Lectures will be focused on recent advances in power electronics for photovoltaic and wind energy systems, especially in terms of topologies and control techniques for both high power and low power applications. Fuel cells power processing and control issues will be also introduced.
Contributions given by researchers from academia and people working in R&S departments of leader companies will complete each other, thus offering to the attendees a unique chance for interacting with both worlds at the same time.
Applications are invited from engineers, scientists and specialists working in universities, research centers, renewable energies related agencies, companies and institutions all over the world.
